The tuition fees for the course are £130, payable as a non-returnable deposit when you apply to the summer school. The charge for board and lodging is £240. This includes breakfast, lunch and evening meal, and also covers use of the school’s sports facilities. This charge is payable on acceptance of a place on the summer school and must be paid by Monday 1st July 2019.
There is a charge of £10.00 for those taking the Derby-Repton coach (return). This is payable at the same time as the charge for board and lodging.
For payment details, please see the application forms.
In the event of withdrawing from the summer school after making their final payment, applicants will receive a 50% refund if they withdraw more than 7 days before the start of the summer school but no refund if they withdraw less than a week before the start of the summer school.
Sponsors of the Summer School give generously to provide grants for those who cannot afford the full cost of the course, and we hope that adequate financial assistance can be given to everyone who really needs it. At the lower end we can provide travel grants for students living a long distance from Repton and at the higher end, in exceptional circumstances, we aim to cover the full cost of the course.
Exactly how much we give to individuals each year depends on how many students apply for grants. Priority is given to students from state maintained schools in the United Kingdom.
If you think that you will need financial help, please complete a grant application form (see below). If you apply for funding from other sources, do not wait for the result of your application but submit your grant application at the same time you make your initial course application. You can always withdraw your application for a JSST bursary later if any of your other applications is successful.
An emailed application form would be preferred, Please send this to:
email@example.com, together with your 'student information form' and your 'application form'. Please also send a passport-size photograph.
If you wish to apply for a grant, your grant application should be submitted at the same time you submit your application form.
Please note, we are no longer providing written reports for students who attend the course, unless specifically asked to do so by the applicant.
Applications will be accepted from 1st January 2019.
